Biography

          The youngest of seven girls and an intuitive energy reader and space clearer since childhood, Flora has been working directly with clients to harmonize the self as well as dwelling spaces since 1997.   

          Flora grew up in Wisconsin on the banks of the Apple River and spent the majority of her childhood outside romping around the wilderness with her family.  Her early appreciation for nature and the energies that exist in everything created an awakening of her intuitive and spiritual gifts.  Flora first realized her psychic abilities at the age of 12 with the prophetic insight of her mother’s death.   Upon tapping into her gifts Flora realized how precious each moment of life is.  After her mother’s death, life dealt her an interesting hand over the next four years and at age 16 she moved out of her father’s home to make it on her own.  After graduating high school she joined the United States Marine Corps and served overseas and stateside during her enlistment, exiting with an Honorable discharge.  In the years following her time in the service she traveled with her two biological children and explored all of life's ups and downs. 

           After giving away all of her worldly possessions, Flora moved to South Africa with her two young children to get a new start in life, only to discover that all her problems followed her there. She found herself in the same situations as before, but with a different cast of characters. Three months after relocating, she moved back to the U.S. and stayed with a family member to pick up the pieces. The next seven months proved to be the most transformational in her life. Flora began to write her story, a therapy that would help her do a 180 degree turn around. She also discovered the power of Bach Flower Essences and the incredible healing power of plants. Her spiritual path in nature was reawakened, along with the realization of the power she held within her to make her dreams a reality. Out of this transformation emerged The Yay Factor™. 

           Flora's hunger and thirst for knowledge and insight into all things Spiritual and Mundane came to her in full force.  In 2004 Flora attended Tulsa Community College and earned an Associates of Science degree in Business, then went on to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Management and Marketing at Oklahoma State University.  Simultaneously, Flora began her spiritual education and training.  She studied under Lady Youngdeer with Children of the Green Goddess for several years, focusing her studies on herbs, essential oils and further developing her intuitive gifts.  Flora also studied under Gypsy Swan and became an Earth Keeper of the Munay Ki Rites and is a Member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.  Flora has trained directly with Sonia Choquette and is a Certified SixSensory™ Practitioner.  She is a Certified Holistic Life Coach and a Certified Tuning Fork Therapy® Practitioner.  Flora is a Priestess in the Susan B. Anthony Coven #1.  Flora continues to take classes on a regular basis to keep her current knowledge base up-to-date as well as to nurture her true love and passion for learning alive.

          Flora conducts hands on workshops and is a regular contributor to Z. Budapest’s online publication “Goddess Magazine” and was a guest contributor to the YouTube Collaborative Channel “Witches for Wellness” from September - December 2009.  Flora has been featured on many websites for her fresh approach to teaching the Pagan path and how to live a balanced life.

          Flora resides in Oklahoma with her husband, four children, two cats and two dogs.
